July 4th Schedule of Events (NEW PARADE TIMES FROM LAST YEAR)
9:30-11 Drop off Tooky Cookie Entries at Contoocook Gazebo
11 am Kids Parade starting at the Contoocook Gazebo Pre-registration at 10 am. Decorate your bike, scooter, wagon, or yourself! Prizes for the best decorations!
11:30 am Independence Day Parade. View from anywhere on Park Ave./Rt 103 in Contoocook Village. If you would like to have your antique car, float, or any car be part of the parade, line up before 11 am at the Hopkinton High School. There are rules about people on floats and in the backs of open cars while traveling down the road. Parade travels through Fountain Square towards Contoocook Village Cemetery.

We will hold a kids and adult contest. Cookies are judged on Flavor, Appearance, Minimal Crumble Effect (it holds together) and Patriotic Design. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places.
