Spring Birding Trip to Plum Island

This annual beginner-friendly birdwatching trip to the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge never disappoints. Participants in the past have seen migrating ibis flocks, streams of falcons migrating overhead, magnificently-colored warblers flitting in and out of nearby trees, ocean ducks, sandpipers and more. Bring binoculars, mid-morning snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing; this program will be canceled for rain heavier than a drizzle. Carpooling is strongly encouraged, as refuge parking can be crowded. More information about carpooling, refuge destinations and other practicalities will be given with registration. 12 participants max.
