Come join us for a Pumpkin Walk Party sponsored by the Hopkinton Rec Committee and the Hopkinton Library! Everyone is invited to this late afternoon event at the Houston Park Complex (Library, Slusser Center, Story Walk). This is an inside/outside event, so dress for the weather and IN YOUR COSTUME! Jack-o-Lantern viewing and voting on the Story Walk will be open from 4-6:30 pm.
Creepy Crafts, Goulish Games and Frightful Food from 3-5 pm:
Come to the Library Community Room and Slusser parking area for crafts, activities and food for sale.
Touch a Truck and Treats 3-5 pm:
Come see a Hopkinton fire truck, police vehicle, and highway department big rig!
Parade around the Library 5 pm:
Join in on the costume parade around the Library!
Jack-o-Lantern Judging from 4-6:30 pm:
Come see and vote for your favorite carved creations on the Story Walk trail behind the Library starting at 4 pm and vote for your favorite Jack-o-Lantern. Bring your flashlights to light the way if you want to view it when the sun sets. Interested in having your Jack-o-Lantern entered into this contest for a chance to win prizes? Check out the Recreation Dept. "Pumpkin Carving Contest" rules for details. Contest participants will need to drop off their Jack-o-Lantern earlier in the day from 1:30-3 pm.
note: Interact volunteers will help direct parking as we will utilize the grass area in front of the library. The back side of the Library will be used for pedestrians and Touch-a-Trucks.
