Come take a 4-week piano lesson with Glenn Paladino and learn to play the piano or improve your current piano skills! Students of all levels and ages welcome. If the piano is new to you, dedicated beginners can expect to be able to read music, understand musical timing and basics of hand position and technique and be able to play a few very simple songs after 4 weeks. Intermediate students can expect to advance their understanding and technique and musicality in a positive direction. All students can expect to have fun!
All students will have a free assessment of their ability and musical interest before starting the four-week course, either in person or by phone. Each private lesson will be approximately 30 minutes in duration. After the 4 weeks, interested students will have the opportunity to continue their studies with Glenn.
Where: Slusser Center
Date: Saturday, April 19, 26, May 3, & 10 (a 4 week session)
Time: choose your 1/2 hour lesson time slot: 9 am, 9:45 am, 10:30 am, 11:15 am. Each lesson is a private, in-person lesson.
Cost: $120 per 4-week session
A little about Glenn Paladino:
Glenn was born and raised near Trenton, NJ. He began learning to play the piano at age seven and his passion, skill and knowledge for playing piano has been lifelong. In the 70's, Glenn played in Bob Smith's Lamplighters, studied with NYC's great pianist Walter Bishop and Norman Achnell who played with Gene Krupa's big band, and performed and traveled with the Delfonics. Additionally, he traveled and performed throughout the northeast for 8 years with his former wife, Gloria McKee in a duo called "Combined Effort."
Glenn's passion is jazz, swing and the Great American Songbook but has studied and played many genres of music throughout his musical career. He has been teaching both beginner and intermediate piano students since 1975 ranging in age from 6 to 88 years of age.
