This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.
4/9/2026 Program Full!
Come join Haley and David Piskorowski, owners of Southern Charm Farm, as they walk you through the cheese making process at their farm. They make their cheese by hand, from picking up the milk at Contoocook Creamery, to fermentation and flocculation in the vat, to hooping, salting, flipping and washing, brushing, and ultimately leading to the farmer’s market and their barn store. They make our cheese naturally, using traditional methods and local ingredients. They will review all of the industrial cheese equipment, explain the process of how we make soft and hard cheeses, review all of the types of cheeses we have and how each one got its name (they all have a story to them and are named after people in our lives!) We will also have several different samples available of our soft cheeses on a cheese board as well as our butter.

We’re Haley and David Piskorowski! Haley is from a small, rural town located in Tennessee. David is from Metro Detroit, Michigan. They met working in the healthcare system. Two years ago, the Piskorowski’s moved from Tennessee to Hopkinton, New Hampshire. As healthcare workers, they were hoping for a fresh start after the burnout that occurred during the grueling waves of the pandemic. Instead of stepping away from the medical field, they decided to take a different path. They decided to throw a dart at the map and they landed in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Dave was drawn to the cooler weather and Haley was drawn to the town’s rural charm. When they bought their house, they realized that it came with industrial-grade cheese equipment which perfectly complemented their dream of starting something new- a new hobby. They never realized how much artisan cheesemaking would become a passion. They’ve been able to handcraft and curate artisan cheeses by using fresh local milk from Contoocook Creamery at Bohanan Farm in Contoocook, New Hampshire.
Our farm consists of multiple farm animals and a farm store that is open daily (7:00am-7:00pm)-self service. In our farm store we sell artisan cheese, butter, homemade jams, honey and baked goods. We want everyone to feel welcome and enjoy their time on the farm.
As parking is limited, you may wish to park on the road.
