NH Abenaki Helping Abenaki is  501 (c) (3) non profit of the Nulhegan band of the Coosuk Abenaki Nation representing the Nulhegan citizens residing in New Hampshire.  AHA’s mission is to provide religious, cultural education and food security for Nulhegan citizens and Abenaki people. When we are able, we assist our community at large when called upon.

In that respect, maple syrup is a traditional  food of the Northeastern Woodland People. Our Maple Syrup Project was created to help support our food security programs here in NH. All proceeds from syrup sales go back to supporting our food security programs.

Darryl Peasley is a life-long resident of Hopkinton NH. He grew up making maple syrup with his family in town. Darryl is the Executive Director of NH Abenaki Helping Abenaki and is on the Board of Directors of AHA, Inc of Vermont. Darryl is an active tribal citizen and leader of the Nulhegan Abenaki Tribe.

Our maple program is one way of supporting our community. We also support our tribal bison herd that is growing here in Stoddard, NH, an Apple Cider project, and the Abenaki Seed Project.
