We’ll check out the visible planets and constellations, listen for owls, and even have a short stop for some hot cider. Snowshoes, ice spikes and hiking poles may be necessary depending on the snow cover; wear what feels best for you. Some snowshoes available to loan. The program will be held under cloudy or clear conditions, but will be canceled for freezing/heavy rain or hazardous weather. 18 participants maximum.

Hopkinton Tiny Explorers Mondays, January 26- February 16, 10:30-11:30am Weather makeup day Monday, March 2, same time Kimball Lake Cabins, Hopkinton Ages 2-5 (siblings welcome) $50 per child, or or $45 each for two or more  Bring your tiny explorers out for some winter fun while meeting other families! We’ll explore Kimball Lake through creative snow play, ice experimentation, and winter wildlife discovery. Along the way, we’ll build preschool social skills and sensory development in the great outdoors. 12 participants maximum.

8:00 AM - 8:00 PM    Ice Skating - Ice Skating
Ice Skating is available when conditions permit at Kimball Lake Cabins.   All skating is at the user's risk. Shovels are on site if you are inclined to help remove snow.  Please do not leave piles of snow on the skating surface as they will refreeze there for the season.  Ice fishing at the Lake is welcome and also at your own risk.  We ask that you please choose an area outside of the skating area.  Please remove the hockey nets at the end of each evening.  The pond surface is continually thawing and refreezing on the surface and the nets will be stuck in place for the season if not removed each night.  Also, if you walk on the ice when it is slushy, it will refreeze with your footprints and make the surface unsuitable for skating.Have fun and please remember your safety gear!  Helmets are always a good idea!
