Pickleball ongoing program - Pickleball ongoing program Join the Rec Dept.'s Picklball Program!Who: All those 18+ who know how to play or want to learn. All skill levels are welcome. What: The Recreation Dept. offers outdoor Pickleball as a "self-led" Pickleball program for all those who wish to have access to the portable Pickleball nets and meet fellow Pickleball players. Those who sign up for the program will have access to the equipment in the spring, summer and fall and can play during the designated Pickleball times or at other times as first come, first served. Registrants can also play on the indoor courts at Harold Martin in the winter.Where: Outdoor Pickleball courts are located at George Park 297 Park Ave. Contoocook (beside the HMHS). Harold Martin School in Hopkinton provides a winter location in their Multi-purpose room. When: Each person can use the pickleball equipment and courts during the designated pickleball program times in the spring, summer and fall or as first come, first served at other times but we ask that you avoid HYSA's tennis program times. How to Register: Those 18+ are welcome to register below, agree to the standard waiver and pay the one time $25 registration fee. The one-time $25 registration fee provides access to the Team Reach App and use of the Town Pickleball equipment. Once your registration is complete, you will be put in touch with one of the Pickleball volunteers who will assist you with the Team Reach app (if you desire to join that), go over the equipment storage and usage, and offer you an initial lesson if you do not know how to play. Want to play outside in the spring, summer and fall without joining the Rec Dept.'s Pickleball program?: Hopkinton residents are welcome to use these courts at any time as first come, first served but will need to bring their own portable net, rackets and balls.
