Beginner Fly Tying Workshop - Beginner Fly Tying Beginner Fly TyingCome join Trout Unlimited as they teach us the basics of fly tying! We will learn thread handling, hook choice, and tool familiarity. Then, we will utilize 4 patterns to demonstrate several basic tying skills, such as wrapping bodies, applying tail material, palmering hackles, dubbing bodies and applying hair wings. Over the course of the 2 sessions, we will progress in learning the various techniques. This is a careful, slow pace with much hands-on assistance during the learning process.March 23 & 25 (a 2-day class)6-8 pm (typically a 2-hour class each night)ages 15+Slusser Centerfree!
