Sound Bath & Guided Meditation - Sound Bath & Guided Meditation Join us for a Sound Bath and Guided Meditation with Erin Tullar! Erin will be bringing several sound instruments to create an experience that promotes relaxation and well-being by "bathing" you in beautiful sound waves. Her guided meditation will take you on a journey to relax your mind and encourage peaceful thoughts. Enjoy this time to be intentional with your mind and body to focus on personal wellness! The use of Sounds Baths has roots in many ancient cultures such as ancient Greek, Egyptian, Tibetan, Chinese and Aboriginal Australian civilizations. Although a seemingly newer practice here in the states, it has been and still is practiced in many cultures around the world. The Tibetan Monks, who are planning their visit to the Hopkinton Library the week of Oct 22, are a perfect example of such a culture. The benefits to immersing in sound vibration and meditation are many: to encourage relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, decrease blood pressure, clearing the mind from overactive thoughts and restore a state of peacefulness. Come experience how Erin will use different sound vibrations and a guided meditation to help you open, clear, and balance the body and energy centers assisting in the release of blocks and trauma. Monday, Oct 30th6-7 PMSlusser CenterFREE- all ages 14+ are invited to attend space is limited to 20Participants can do this in a seated position or on a yoga mat (bring yours if you have one). Wear comfortable clothing and bring water.A little about Erin:Erin holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is a Reiki Master and Shamanic Practitioner.
